Locum Interventional Radiologist near Mishawaka, IN starting as soon as credentialed. Schedule: 7:30am - 5:00pm M-F. The need is one week a month until June, then 2 – 3 weeks a month going forward.  Dates needed: April 1 – April 8 May 27th-June 3rd June 7-14th  + One of the last two weeks in June. July 12-19 July 19-26 August 2-9 August 9-16th + One of the last two weeks of August. Call schedule: “Pager” call weeknights 5pm-7:30am, Weekends Friday 5pm - Monday 7:30am Call Ratio: 1:4 Practice Details:  Practice Setting: Hospital based practice with protected clinic time 1 out of 4 days. Average number of cases per day: 15 cases split amongst two IR doctors. EMR: EPIC Number of exam rooms: Hospital has 20 pre/post rooms with dedicated nursing staff, Procedure area has 2 dedicated modern IR suites (Philips and Siemens) and a dedicated IR CT room for procedures and 3 top of the line US machines 3 Interventional radiologists currently in practice Support Staff: 5 nurses and 6 techs for inpatient side, rounding nurse and IR clinical coordinator. Outpatient clinic has MA/RVT and clinic manager and front desk staff Patient age demographics: Mostly adult and geriatric with occasional pediatric G-tube changes and PICCs. Teleradiology?: Yes, for cases after 5pm and on weekends. Able to access EMR as well as read/review and dictate PACS studies from home. Key Responsibilities• Maintains site Preventive Maintenance(PM) program. Coordinates and schedules PMs during plant shutdown and planned production downtime.• Ensures completion of site PMs and calibrations by due date.• Provides manufacturing and facilities support to troubleshoot or perform necessary repairs to maintain the operation of equipment.• Coordinate necessary technical training and develop skill trades to effectively to perform their job.• Develops spare parts budget and ensures adequate inventory is maintained to support the production and Maintenance equipment.• Demonstrates strong leadership and supervisory approaches for work direction, motivation, performance management, and disciplinary action. • Work with outsides contractors and vendor to schedule service and repair of production and facilities equipment.• Schedule and monitor work for skill trades every day to support manufacturing and facilities departments.• Adhere to plant safety rules to ensure safe operation and troubleshooting of production and facilities equipment.• Drive continuous improvement of equipment performance and reliability through Kaizen and TPM.• Lead Autonomous and Preventive maintenance activities.• Work on assigned CAPAs and non-conformances pertaining to maintenance of production and facilities equipment.• Must be willing to support and provide maintenance support for 24/7 manufacturing operations.• Must be able to multitask and prioritize according to the business needs.Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience• BS/BA degree in related discipline or equivalent.
