You will lead the development, enhancement, and management of logistics products that cater to the needs of the market. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will drive the strategic vision, product roadmap, and execution to deliver innovative logistics solutions. Your role will involve deep market research, understanding customer needs, and translating them into actionable product strategies while providing mentorship to product managers.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSEssential activities include but are not limited to:- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify market trends, customer pain points, and competitor offerings in the logistics industry.- Analyze market data, customer feedback, user-journey and industry insights to identify new product opportunities and make data-driven decisions.- Pitching product solutions to the leadership justifying the business case for tech roadmap prioritization. Define the strategic vision, goals, and roadmap for logistics products, aligning them with business objectives and market needs.- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize features, define requirements through effective PRDs, and create a clear and actionable product roadmap.- Work closely with engineering and design teams to translate product requirements into well-defined specifications and user stories.- Coordinate product releases, including feature prioritization, testing, and deployment, ensuring timely delivery and minimal disruption to operations.- Lead the product development process, including sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality logistics solutions.- Develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, messaging, pricing, and sales enablement materials.- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to drive successful product launches and support ongoing sales efforts.- Monitor key product performance metrics, customer satisfaction, and market adoption to identify areas for improvement and optimization.- Continuously gather customer feedback, market insights, and industry trends to refine and enhance logistics products.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree.- 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably within both startup and complex environments- Crystal clear written, spoken, and presentation skills, with a bias toward over-communication and inclusivity.- Knowledge of SQL and experience building data-driven models.- Understand the software development lifecycle, and ability relentlessly prioritize based on data, and focus on key deliverables.- Experience crafting long term vision and quarterly roadmaps from market insights and customer research- Business acumen with curiosity to learn and become an expert on a complex product- Proven experience transforming independent products into a cohesive platformPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Advanced degree (MBA a plus)- Superior analytical and quantitative skills, comfortable with complex data- Experience with end to end product delivery- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product- Experience working cross-functionally with UX design and multiple software development teams- High threshold for working in an ambiguous, fast paced environment- Ability to work independently, strong attention to detail, and a passion for executing strategy to deliver business results- Knowledge of LTL, Small Parcel, and Managed transportation services.- Experience presenting to senior leadership
