DescriptionThe IT Global Business Consultant - Sales and Distribution (SD) works closely with the Order Management, Sales operations, and Customer master data organizations at Merz, to understand their needs and leveraging SAP's capabilities and other 3 rd party tools to design, implement, and optimize solutions that enhance their business processes.The Consultant will leverage their business process expertise, work experience and industry best practice understanding to successfully design, implement and support solutions within the SAP ECC/ SAP S/4HANA environment; SD module, including EDI as well as integrations with 3 rd party applications. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develop business relationships with the Sales and Logistics business process owners and subject matter experts. Conduct workshops and meetings to understand existing business processes, pain points, document business requirements and write functional specifications. Identify and discuss potential process improvements based on understanding of Industry/Merz best practices. Design and configure the SD module (Order to Cash processes) in alignment with solution architecture guidelines. Assist with design and support of integrations with 3rd party applications, such as salesforce (CRM, Service Cloud and eCommerce), 3PLs, Tracelink, Credit Card and Tax solutions as it pertains to Order to Cash. Lead small projects and participate in implementation of larger SAP projects, including planning, scoping, configuration, data migration, testing, validation, and go-live activities. Perform and document testing and coordinate testing with end users. Ensure validation documentation is created, approved, and executed. Develop and maintain training materials and provide training to key power users. Participate in developing SAP best practices to facilitate change management and end user adoption of new technologies in the OTC space. Manage change control process per Merz' SDLC working closely with our AMS partners. Provide tier 3 level support and provide guidance to our AMS partners. Education Four-year degree in Computer Science / Information systems or related discipline. Experience and Qualifications 5 years' experience in a position of equal scope and responsibility Strong understanding of Sales and distribution and its interactions with logistics/supply chain as well as Finance Extensive knowledge and experience in SAP SD/OTC processes and configuration (sales, pricing, ATP, billing, rebates, intercompany, returns, etc) and integration to 3 rd party applications required. Knowledge of business partner concept, advanced returns, advanced intercompany and Fiori within S/4 is a plus. Experience with CS (Customer & Sales Service/Warranty) with equipment is a plus. Demonstrated experience with SAP S/4HANA. Experience in Migration project from ECC to S/4HANA preferred. Experience in multinational environments where template governance is enforced. At least 2 full lifecycle SAP project implementations Expertise in pharmaceutical or medical device industries preferred. Skills Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with dedication to quality delivery and a proven track record of consistently meeting project deadlines. Appetite to learn and expand knowledge and skills both technical and business processes. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to develop and visually present ideas and concepts to both IT and business stakeholders. The Operations Center is a centralized source for coordination of incidents that impact the campus. They are responsible for facilitating coordination and communication during critical unplanned outages with the service providers, ITS Communications & Digital Services, and the office of the CIO. These IT Operations Analysts are responsible for management of the Information Technology Services (ITS) data centers and responsible for providing around-the-clock support for ITS business computing activities. The primary purpose of this position is to monitor, diagnose, and manage problems within our central network, as well as to provide a central strategic / tactical coordination facility for customers throughout the University as needed. The goal is to detect Network and Security problems before they impact the campus, and when necessary, limit their impact by taking immediate action. This position uses proprietary software to disable compromised user accounts to prevent the spread of malware and spam.
