My client, a leading firm in facility management throughout the New York Tri-State area for over 30 years, is looking to bring on an Accounts Payable Specialist in their accounting department. You will be familiarized with every aspect of the industry to maintain and strengthen their financial position. My client is looking to provide you with a continued focus on your growth and development. Under the supervision of the Accounts Payable Supervisor, the AP Specialist will perform accounting and other tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions ensuring that company guidelines and processes are being followed. You will be responsible for managing a high volume of accounts for various vendors, ensuring vendor invoices are paid in a timely manner, and assisting with AP month-end closing procedures. This individual is required to be in office for the first 90 days for training prior to transitioning into their 3-day hybrid schedule. Targeting $50-60k. Qualifications and Competencies: High School Degree required; College degree highly desired or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 3-5 years related experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable is preferred. This role is currently 100% remote and will switch back to office environment.
