The analyst plays a critical role in maintaining EPSi to ensure production of high quality, accurate and timely patient-level financial and clinical data for our Finance, and Operational business partners. EPSi is the single source of critical financial data that allows Business Line Vice Presidents and Directors to prepare ROI analysis for capital and value improvements projects, develop case base budgets, and provide program and service line profitability reporting.Responsibilities will include developing business cases, extracting cost data, billing data, patient demographic data, and other information from the Medical Center's cost accounting database, as well as from various other dashboards or other Business/Clinical Intelligence tools. A critical component of this position is the ability to establish effective working relationships with staff who have a deep understanding of IT applications and databases, in order to develop the necessary knowledge for analyzing complex data sets.Supports the Director - Shared Service in their overall strategy to achieve best practices in the management of EPSi, and its associated reporting tools.
