Experience related to marine vessels such as oceangoing vessels, patrol vessels, offshore support vessels, research vessels, tugs, and barges is a plus, but is not mandatory. Excellent communication and leadership skills are a must in addition to familiarity with IEC, NEC, IEEE, ABS, CFR, USCG, SOLAS, IMO and other applicable regulations is preferred.
