GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT: A Van Driver provides transportation for elderly and disabled, to and from medical appointment. Good judgement, common sense, and safe driving practices are an every day occurrence. Van Drivers may be required to assist in other operational duties such as special events, and/or needs as determined by management. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Transportation Associate Duties:• Operates vehicles in accordance with MGB Healthcare System policies as well as in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.• Inspects vehicle at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure operating effectiveness. • (A walk-around inspection of all safety-related items will be included in the inspection.) • Reports any damage and inoperative or inoperable equipment to the Admin. PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering Project Engineer: 5 - 8 years of related experience.
