The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.Prepare financial statements in compliance with official guidelines and requirements.Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas of improvement.Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of controls, accuracy of financial records, and efficiency of operations.Collaborate with other departments to support overall department goals and objectives.Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.QualificationsProven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and ability to work independently.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
