Communicate at high level with consultants from other disciplines (structural, electrical, etc.) Interact with equipment vendors on design, iterative changes, file transfer, etc. Control overall layout and/or 3D space of entire project. Maintain central origin/work point consistency through project lifespan. Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications:  Degree in Mechanical Technology and/or equivalent training. Ten (10) or more years of experience in related job function as a senior mechanical designer, with five (5) years of mechanical design experience in a heavy industry – preferably wood products manufacturing.
