A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.Nature & Purpose of Position:Performs administrative assistant duties for the College of Education TRIO Student Support Services program.Primary Responsibilities:Performs administrative assistant duties. Responsible for tracking project participation and collecting assessment data. Provides support to administrators with purchasing procedures within a project. Responsible for program documentation, recordkeeping, purchasing, and collecting of data. Responsible for eligibility documentation and processing of participant records. Answers applicant questions via phone and email. Interviews and meets with participants. Conducts program orientations. Implements services through individual meetings and/or activities. Performs other related duties as assigned.Other Specifications:Requires a general knowledge of standard office functions. Requires good knowledge of procedures and practices. Must be able to use standard office software. Must be able to apply policies and procedures and solve routine problems of a repetitive nature. As may be required by grant or project.This is a full-time, temporary, benefits eligible, grant funded position expected to end on or before 8/01/2025.
