The starting pay for this position is $18 - $22/hr., depending on experience.Utility Monitoring Technicians are responsible for ensuring the correct, safe, and efficient locates of underground utilities and being the face of damage prevention for the excavation community. This includes taking time to thoroughly communicate with excavators regarding the critical nature of facilities they are working around and protecting the integrity of those facilities throughout the excavation process. It is also the Utility Monitoring Technician’s responsibility to monitor excavation around facilities our customers deem as critical.Our "mobile office" approach to work means that you will never have the same day twice. Our Utility Monitoring Technicians work from a company vehicle utilizing our state-of-the-art ticket management systems to ensure clear and complete services have been communicated for the excavator or property owner.This position requires you to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions and use a company provided laptop to document and close all tickets. Our 48-hour turnaround time on all tickets means we generally work the day after holidays and some weekends, as needed.These are full time positions, and some overtime may be required.
