Construction Project ManagerTF Powers Construction, a commercial construction company based in Fargo, ND, is looking for a Project Manager to join our team.Duties | Responsibilities:The Project Manager shall be responsible for simultaneously estimating, organizing, planning, and managing multiple complex commercial construction projects. The Project Manager oversees and is responsible for overall project success. Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:Project Management:Collaborate with project owners, design team, site superintendents, and subcontractors to discuss and resolve problems, including work procedures, complaints, and construction or design issues. Develop and maintain good working relationships with a variety of people including owners, managers, supervisors, trades persons, and craft workers. Ensure safety guidelines and standards are followed by all contractors on site. Lead and document weekly project construction meetings. Manage, document, and distribute project RFI, PR, and CO process and reviews. Have a comprehensive understanding of project drawings, specifications, and owner contracts. Manage and document project's shop drawing and submittal review process. Oversee and document punch-list process. Ensure project punch items are distributed and completed in a timely manner. Ensure all project inspections have been completed and Certificate of Occupancy is attained. Assist in gathering all close-out items for a complete set of As-Built plans and O&M manuals. Manage project commissioning, testing & balancing, and owner training as required for project close-out. Manage and schedule any project warranty items found at 11-month walkthrough. Maintain relationships with architects and owners for any future construction needs. Maintain, update, and distribute project schedule. Review and process subcontractor invoices and change requests. Manage all pricing and distribution of any project changes. Procure necessary subcontractors, materials, and equipment to complete project. Cost code all project associated invoices and billings. Assist accounting to produce monthly project pay applications. Lead team members to complete projects on time, to specifications, with accuracy and efficiency. Estimating:Research upcoming bids and prospective projects / clients. Attend and partake in any pre-bid or preconstruction meetings. Complete quantity take-offs and estimate required labor, material, and equipment costs for any self-performed work. Solicit and analyze qualified bidders. Have a thorough understanding of subcontractor and supplier scopes and bids. Prepare, review, and procure subcontracts and material contracts. Create project CPM schedule using Microsoft Project or Primavera P6. Perform cost projections throughout project progression. Are you qualified for this position?
