The Maintenance Manager position is a highly regarded role amongst the management team and will receive direction and support from the Plant Manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Continually strives towards a culture of proactive safety. Direct and support the maintenance technician and supporting staff in all maintenance activities including complex assignments. Maintains function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by implementing and providing oversight of a preventive maintenance program. Facilitates the operation and testing of systems and equipment. Working in conjunction with department leads will schedule the flow of maintenance related work while being mindful of critical production deadlines. Support Plant Manager and lead Engineer in the development of strategies and plans which align with operational needs, while minimizing risks, and maximizing the useful life of the assets being maintained. Maintain records and coordinate service/repair via outside contractors on a variety of high precision machining equipment and other large -scale equipment.
