Our work depends on a Senior DevSecOps engineer joining our team to support a US Air Force program that is playing a major role in strengthening and modernizing America's Ground-Based Strategic Deterrent. Our client will develop and deliver a digital engineering design solution that enables and integrates the program's complete set of data, tools, and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) activities, and makes them available to internal and appropriate external engineering and programmatic stakeholders throughout the program's lifecycle. This Senior DevSecOps Engineer position will directly contribute to building and supporting the containerized infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and software factory components of the digital engineering environment. This position is remote with up to 40% travel to the greater Salt Lake City, Utah area. You will be part of our growing Water Operations team that is developing water and wastewater treatment solutions that seamlessly transition from design plans to completed projects that exceed client expectations and further Kiewit's legacy of excellence.You will provide technical and process engineering leadership for treatment process evaluation, selection, design and optimization and evaluation of plant operations associated with the permanent design activities of Kiewit teams and external partners on industrial water and wastewater design-build and/or EPC projects and pursuits. Industrial Water Treatment projects include chemical, physical and/or biological wastewater treatment technologies such as coagulation/flocculation, filtration, UF/RO, chemical precipitation of metals, chemical oxidation and reduction, oil/water separation and biological/biosolids treatment (thermal hydrolysis, advanced anaerobic digestion) as applicable in the petroleum, chemical, power and renewable gas markets. Remote work locations will be fairly considered.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical and engineering leadership for industrial water and wastewater facility design including treatment process evaluation, process selection, and optimization and conduct evaluations of full-scale plant operations, pilot studies and bench studies as required. Identify and evaluate process lifecycle costs.Oversee and participate in the preparation of engineering reports, engineering drawings and specifications for complex water/wastewater projects such as PFD's, P&ID's, process simulations, datasheets, and engineering calculations including hydraulics and equipment sizing.Perform process systems and hydraulics modeling and scenario studies.Provide front line issue resolution of technical issues associated with design, construction, equipment and/or operations.Work within a multi-disciplinary team of engineers within a budget and schedule to execute design and engineering on projects.Interface with clients and partner engineers to support project and business development needs. Work directly with clients and partners on projects and tasks to develop long-term relationships. Attend client development activities and functions.Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.Provide consultation in specialized areas related to treatment plant planning and design.Communicate/present industry trends, competitive situations or technology/regulatory issues.Support business development efforts and help in the pursuit of new projects. Contribute to the development of client proposals and project cost estimates.Actively participate in professional organizations. Prepare and make presentations to clients and professional organizations.Serve as a representative of Kiewit at meetings, presentations and public hearings/meetings relative to assigned projects.Participate in improving company resources and tools to improve design production and efficiency.Mentor Kiewit's entry and mid-level engineers for skill development. Review their progress and results. Provide direction and coaching, as needed.QualificationsBachelor's degree or higher in Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil/Environmental EngineeringMinimum of 10 years' experience in process development, conceptual and detailed design with a background in industrial markets.Professional Engineer (PE) registration Understanding of federal, state and local regulations and requirements related to water characterization, treatment and dischargeExperience as process design engineering lead on design-build projects is preferredMust be willing and available to accommodate intermittent travel (20-30% maximum expected)Preferred experience utilizing AFT Fathom or AFT Arrow hydraulic simulation software (or equivalent) and/or experience with process modeling and simulation software applications such as Biowin, GPS-X, Hysys and/or Aspen, WatPro, AqMB, SIMBA etc.Other Requirements: Regular, reliable attendance Work productively and meet deadlines timely Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment Perform work safely and effectively. Commercial Construction Project Engineer will be assisting with the following:Work closely with team to maintain project compliance of scheduling, quality/safety control and other related activities.Compile and organize plans and files. Review project to understand scope of work.Track submittals to match the Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule to ascertain procurement and delivery of all material for the job.Follow up with RFI's for the design team.Develop pricing and overall pricing strategies, work closely with team in the development to ensure accurate estimates and assumptions meet project requirements.Review and interpret documents from the architect on an on-going basis. Job Description Summary Designs, develops, analyzes, troubleshoots, and documents computer network and infrastructure. Supports client environments as member of Logicalis' 24x7x365 operations team. Responsible for support, incident, problem, change, configuration, performance, and capacity management of devices and resources monitored by Logicalis Managed Services. Provides Tier 3 engineering and support for relevant technology of environments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Designs, installs, and troubleshoots Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure fabric, including Network Centric and Application Centric deployments Performs design and analysis of IP addressing, network security, internet access, e-mail, DNS, NT related services, disaster recovery, content filtering, power considerations, and remote access. Demonstrates understanding of ethernet frames, frame switching, ether types, T-1, DS-3, PPP, Frame Relay. Masters assigned discipline within technical offering (ie: video, security network management, remote access, routing). Responds and solves client issues utilizing technology tools, procedures, and training through awareness of service offerings and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Understands Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and follows predefined ITIL incident, problem and change management processes in place for each client when working to resolve client requests or outages.
