Position Summary:  The Foreman is a skilled position in the construction, maintenance and repair of electrical overhead distribution systems.  This position works at various locations and may also be required to travel to another state depending on customer demands. Essential Functions: Work safely while performing new construction, maintenance or repair work of energized and de-energized overhead work. Able to coach crew members. Possesses working knowledge of coaching skills. Must be capable of coaching and training lower skilled employees in safe and productive work procedures.  Must be capable of leading and teaching hot stick work on energized lines. Conducts pre-job or tailgate briefings. Possesses a working knowledge of all aspects of line work. Stringing overhead wire. Setting poles and anchors. Installing transformers, lightening arrestors, cutouts, crossarms, insulators, switches and switchgear. Troubleshoots problems and supervises troubleshooting in primary and secondary systems. Replaces cutout fuses and clears faulted circuits and systems. Frequently works with energized high voltage systems requiring skill and care to protect the lives of themselves and others. Maintains company vehicles, equipment and tools in good working order. Able to perform rigorous physical labor. Must be able to identify primary and secondary voltage on a circuit. Must be familiar with induced voltage. Able to properly sag wire. Must be capable of properly phasing a circuit through a substation. Must be able to identify and locate puller and tensioner setups. Job TitleJockey/Yard Driver - NightsLocationDallas, TexasDescriptionOak Farms of Dallas is looking for a Yard/Jockey driver to drive Tractor Trailer with capacity of more than three tons and usually with more than six wheels to transport materials to and from specified destinations, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and area roads.Oak Farms Dairyis a part of Dairy Farmers of America.DFA manufactures a variety of dairy products, including cheese, butter, fluid milk, ice cream, dairy ingredients and more, under well-known and established regional brands.Our fingerprints touch thousands of brands across the marketplace, and we’re passionate about delivering the simple pleasures of dairyfrom our farmer family ownersto people everywhere.· Requires a CDL A commercial driver's license.· Responsible for operating shuttles to move trailers from building to building, staging area and from various loading dock doors.· Receiving instructions via radio and performing trailer shuttling to accommodate logistical needs.· Responsible for performing daily maintenance checks of shuttle truck and reporting any malfunctions to the garage.· Responsible for documenting all trailer moves on Yard Driver daily move sheets and submitting the daily move sheet to the shipping office upon the completion of the shift.· Responsible for fueling of the yard truck as needed.· Must be able to perform the duties of this role in ALL weather conditions.· Couple and uncouple tractor trailer units.· Connect and disconnect brake lines as needed.· Maintain a valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical card.· Perform "safety check" inspection of the trailer according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.· Secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift.· Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes.· Know and comply with all Department of Transportation regulations per the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations handbook.· Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.· Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area.· Follow all required work safe practices. This would include wearing of all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, etc.· Responsible for food safety, pre-requisite programs and food quality related to designated area.· Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately.Pay:$23.21Requirements· Experience preferred but not required.· Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.· Must have DOT certifiable and a good MVR.· Must currently have a Class A CDL (commercial driver’s license).· Must maintain a valid commercial driver's license and an air brake endorsement.· Experience within the food and beverage industry preferred.· Must be able to stand, walk, and climbing into and out of tractor trailers virtually the entire shift. Position Summary: The Shop Mechanic position works at various locations. The position may also be required to travel to another state depending on customer demands. Essential Functions: Manage development of equipment in cities and states within region. Knowledge of the mechanics of equipment ranging from as large as a crane to as small as a chain saw. Work safely while performing repairs or maintenance in a garage and in the field in various weather conditions. Troubleshooting in various localities regarding equipment repair, maintenance and deployment.  Frequently work around energized high voltage systems requiring skill and care to protect the lives of themselves and others while performing job.  Maintains company vehicles, equipment and tools in good working order.  Other Requirements: Able to perform rigorous physical labor. Requires 1-5 years of experience. Must have or able to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Must have own general tools. Must be able to learn or perform work in the following disciplines: Hydraulics Diesel/gas engine – automatic Chassis and suspension Welding/metal fabrication Small tool repair Must know or be able to learn how to use a computer for: Diagnostics Equipment Inventory management Work Orders Certifications of Experiences in any of the following a plus: ASE certification Ford or international certifications Altec/Telelect Hydraulic maintenance Utility or construction jobs Able to work for extended periods throughout various locations, when required.
