This position is responsible for overseeing event and rental sales and service, managing the food and beverage operations of the Fifth Province Pub and kitchen and bar staff and beverage needs for rentals and events, and assisting in the room rental and events management business of the Irish American Heritage Center. Promote the Center to generate revenue growth and ensure service excellence by renting rooms and managing rental and Center events. Integrate both aspects of the Center business to operate within budget and generate maximum revenue.The Venue Business Manager will be present when events and rentals are required and for Fifth Province Pub operations.JOB FUNCTIONSI. Fifth Province Pub Management Activities A. Set and monitor quality and service levels for all staff, ensuring the highest level of customer service at all times, regardless of the number of patrons.B. Schedule all staff and manage and maintain correct staffing levels in relation to sales and customer needs for Fifth Province and Center and rental events.C. Monitor and manage inventory levels of alcohol and other beverages, food, and other supplies to ensure goods are delivered on time and at the best cost. Only order what is needed to avoid spoilage and quality loss.D. Work with Event staff and Center Committees to ensure adequate staffing levels and inventory for all special events and rentals.E.
