This position also manages the Associate Director of Development for Global Climate.Specifically, the Director is responsible for designing, building and executing a private philanthropic fundraising plan for the Conservancy's Global Climate priorities. The Director will manage and grow a donor portfolio while also supporting fundraisers throughout the organization to ultimately raise at least $10 Million in gifts and pledges annually for the Global Tackle Climate Change Team. There is a focus on raising flexible funding to support TNC's global Climate Priorities and the work the Global TCC team manages. The Director will motivate the efforts of a multi-disciplinary team of staff and volunteers in activities related to donor identification, cultivation, and solicitation. In some cases, the Director will be the relationship manager and in other cases an active team member with fundraisers across TNC.
