We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Chester, VA, USABASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience- 5+ years of increasing responsibilities in EHS and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations- 5+ years of increasing responsibilities in people and performance management- Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environmentPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Distribution Center or Manufacturing EHS experience with mix of exempt and non-exempt employees at a site of at least 250 people- Master’s degree- Experience implementing lean principles and process improvement in an operational environment.- Experience in a fast paced, dynamic organization.- Certified Safety Professional- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort interfacing with site leaders.- Ability to develop and implement department goals and strategies.- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
