The SILP provides resources for youth aged 18 to 20 who are experiencing challenges as they transition to adulthood. All youth are referred to us through ACS. Our residents have experienced significant trauma, resulting in behavioral and emotional issues. The program provides physical and emotional support, family connections and visitation, educational, social and clinical support and opportunities, age appropriate recreational activities, and aftercare planning for youth and young adults.The Behavioral Health Clinician is a key member of the therapeutic team. He/She/They are responsible for supplying necessary, culturally sensitive clinical interventions within the realm of the program. The Behavioral Health Clinician works closely with the director, case manager, medical staff and programming manager to ensure appropriate evaluations and treatment interventions for the youth. Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Meet with assigned residents for weekly sessions, engage and remain in contact with their parents, ensure home visits are conducted, vocational/ Educational, psychiatric, recreational services are provided.
