You will be primarily responsible for devising and developing novel drive schemes to support the adoption of E Ink displays in new applications. Achieving this goal requires making advances in the fundamental understanding of electrophoretic display systems interaction. In addition, you will support new display product development through the creation of core test methods and in-depth analysis of electro-optical performance. Activities include creating and executing electro-optical experiments, developing algorithms for driving E Ink displays, and performing in-depth analysis of display performance. Design e-paper products for specific applications in a cross-function setting. Collaborate closely within and across R&D teams utilizing knowledge and innovations in display front panel, electro-optical material design, driving scheme, display algorithm, color science, solid state physics, backplane design, image processing and physical/electrical modeling. Improve the design of the driving waveform of the next generation e-paper through design of experiments. Clarify the interaction of several variables on the performance of the display. Debug software/hardware issues of the driving platform of the e-paper display through both theoretical analysis and empirical trial and error methodologies.
