We are looking for a seasoned leader with strong technical and people skills to lead our Cyber Engineering team (~35 FTEs). In this role, you will lead security architecture, data, devops, software development, and operations teams responsible for securing the Paranoids and Yahoo's products and services. The Cyber Engineering team's customers span a variety of internal and external teams. Internally, you will support cyber leadership and your colleagues that span the core information security capabilities: Incident Response, Product Security, GRC, etc. Externally, you will support key groups across Yahoo such as the platform engineering teams, AI/ML researchers, and our flagship product teams: Mail, Sports, Finance, etc. Your team's mission is to operate like a true engineering team by rapidly designing, architecting and building solutions - based on the priorities of the business, customers and Paranoids' needs - that are highly performant, scalable, robust and have a clear value proposition! You will also partner with Engineering leaders across Yahoo's evolving business pillars to ensure that products and tools are developed in a secure manner.
