Some consumer loan technology support is also involved. This attorney works closely with IT product teams to assist with implementation of regulatory changes as they impact lending technology systems. This position will also be responsible for records management, legal holds and data privacy programs and managing internal due diligence processes, insurance renewals and other duties as assigned. This position will also provide support to the attorney supporting the bank's commercial credit department. Day-to Day-Duties and Responsibilities: Act as primary legal liaison for Information Technology department, provide legal support for technology initiatives provided by the bank in its role as a service provider, including but not limited to loan origination and document generation technology for commercial and consumer financing and real estate transactions with an emphasis on agricultural loans. Span of technology support will cover the entire loan life cycle from application and early disclosures, to closing documentation and post-closing and/or servicing activities, including cash management/online platform, E-signature, application portal and E-Vault. Operate as part of a team to ensure alignment between technology roadmap and third-party user business practices. Work with the Bank's compliance and documentation testing team to identify and resolve issues and validate enforceability and compliance.
