Job Responsibilities As an Overnight Houseperson, you will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of the hotel public areas, efficient and timely delivery of guestroom supplies, provide transportation and other assistance to guests.   Your specific duties in this role will include: • General clean assigned areas including the lobby, rest rooms, offices, corridors, banquet areas, elevators, stairways, entranceways, pool facilities, exercise room, associate break areas and outside areas. • Greet guests upon arrival and assist with luggage. • Provide safe transportation to all guests using the hotel shuttle vehicle. • Valet cars. • Assist in the delivery and set-up of cots, cribs and other guest related supplies. • Make guest room deliveries of packages, guest valet laundry and other items. • Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to disposal area. • Check all fixtures, equipment, and facility conditions (lights, toilets, water temperature, furniture, wallpaper, etc.) for proper operation, settings and maintenance.  Report deficiencies. • Maintain housekeeping storage closets in proper supply level, organization and cleanliness. • Ensure hotel amenities and supplies are placed appropriately throughout the hotel such as pool towels, vases, paper supplies, note pads, pens. • Perform special deep cleaning tasks and laundry as assigned. • Move furniture, hang and remove drapes, and roll carpets as needed. • Assist with snow removal including brushing off cars, shoveling and salting walkways as necessary. • Replace light bulbs as needed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Pulls, packs, delivers and picks up medications, supplies and basic equipment.May instruct patients on basic use of respiratory therapy equipment, durable medical equipment, oxygen equipment, and other equipment/services approved by state licensure limitations.Loads and unloads durable medical and infusion equipment onto delivery vehicle.Responds to emergency delivery calls as needed during regular business hours and on an on-call basis.Completes necessary paperwork including daily delivery logs, pick-up and delivery forms and vehicle maintenance logs. Distributes paperwork to appropriate personnel. Maintains supply component of patient profiles.Notify supervisor if any one of the following items is discovered in the patient's home: a) Physical abuse of any family memberb) Home environment is unsafe for the care ordered, such as unsanitary conditions or insufficient food for children c) Animals in the home that cause unsanitary conditionsMay clean and assist with the repair of equipment. Perform routine vehicle maintenance including the checking of gasoline, oil fluids, tire pressure and brakes.
