You will also support continuous improvement initiatives.You will report to the Sourcing and Procurement Manager. On a given day, you may:Manage assigned supply spend utilizing a Total Cost of Ownership methodology.Manage relationships for assigned supply base ensuring understanding of our goals regarding Delivery, Quality, Inventory, Cost, and RiskConduct negotiations with assigned supply base to support our cost management processCreate inventory stocking and replenishment strategy for assigned supply base through data collection/analysis, internal collaborative discussion, and market intelligence.Manage assigned relationships which includes purchase order creation/maintenance, expedites/de expedites, and date acknowledgement.Do vendor onboarding, part number creation and maintenance, and maintenance of planning parameters for all serviced suppliers and replenishment locationsYou Have:Knowledge of purchasing/supply chain/sourcing fundamental processesExperience with data mining and management with Excel (can perform complex functions) .Working knowledge of ERP functionality as it relates to job responsibilities.Focus on teamwork and servicing internal and external customers.High school diploma required.3 years of procurement, sourcing or supply chain experience is required.APICS Certified (CPIM or CSCP)Read fabrication and machining prints.BenefitsJBT Corporation offers the growth potential of a company with a developing technology that is unique in its field, plus frequent company-sponsored events and a great benefits package that includes, life insurance, disability, medical, family leave, dental and vision coverage and 401(k) plan.Location, Travel, Work Schedule:This position is onsite and will report to our offices in 212700 Stainless Ave Stratford, Wisconsin 54484 United States.
