The Clarios St. Joseph MO Distribution Facility is one of the 17 plants of the company around the US. It is located about 45 minutes north of North Kansas City MO and 15 minutes south of downtown St. Joseph. This plant is the last stage of Lead-Acid battery manufacturing before they are being shift to different costumers. Equipment is predominantly electrical/voltage testing equipment, acid blending systems, deco labeling system, conveyors and packaging systems including Robots. Company provided PPE that are being used are safety glass, steel toe, and company provided uniforms.Engineer’s Primary Responsibility (by priority):20% is High level support only – PLC/controls/electrical/mechanical on production equipment issues that can’t be handled by maintenance techs and programmers in a timely manner. (Support averaging twice per week only).80% is Developing and implementing new projects (improvement projects) – small scale to capital projects.Developing project feasibility studies (supported by data and engineering calculations).
