We are currently looking to add certified Child/Adolescent Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioners to our Reading and Wyomissing locations of Berkshire Psychiatric & Behavioral Health Services. Our mission is to treat every patient with the compassion and respect that we would treat our own families and to provide the kind of behavioral healthcare that patients recommend to their families and friends and referring physicians prefer for their patients.POSITION SUMMARY As a Nurse Practitioner in our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) you will have a collaborative agreement with the Medical Director and work closely to ensure that the psychiatric and medical services provided to our patients are consistently adherent to the standards of the company/agency and applicable regulatory entities.EDUCATION: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program, Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) required. Child/Adolescent Psychiatric-Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist Certification (PMHCNS-BC)EXPERIENCE: At least three (3) to five (5) years experience working as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with mental health population, outpatient preferred.
