A degree in mechanical engineering or related field and five years of engineering experience is required.Engineering Lead A: Manage Functional Hull Design deliverables, supervise project team members, provide technical guidance, coordinate with Project Engineer, Program Management, and Production Personnel. Proactive and resourceful with a good understanding of marine vessel design is required.Subcontract Program Manager: Manages subcontractor performance during vessel build cycle, ensures supplier performance metrics, resolves subcontractor problems, and aligns with company activities for Supply Chain Management. Requires engineering background, knowledge of Program Management, Project Management, Subcontract Management, multitasking, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Desirable experience includes five years in Program Management, Project Management, Subcontract Management, a Bachelor's Degree in an applicable discipline, and experience in US Naval Shipbuilding. The candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.Boat Coordinator: Supervises and coordinates production phases of a vessel, ensures production schedules are met. Responsibilities include developing schedules, ensuring safe working conditions, coordinating with Foremen, monitoring schedules, material ordering and receiving, and man-hour budget. The candidate should have knowledge of manufacturing operations, ability to analyze blueprints and production drawings, plan cost-effective work procedures, and effectively communicate and lead a production team. A high school diploma or GED, coursework in production management or industrial technology, or equivalent job training/experience, and experience in plant operations and supervision are desirable.Parts Master: Manages material in inventories, creates parts in the database, maintains purchase part records in the MRP system, handles excess material, assists in discrepancies, and acts as a backup for Procurement. The candidate should have knowledge of vessel construction, basic computer skills, good communication, and at least two years' experience in warehouse activities or supervision.Ship Superintendent: Directs multiple production phases within a specific project, ensures production schedules are met. Responsibilities include ensuring safety programs, policies, and procedures are followed, reviewing production drawings, coordinating work assignments with Department Heads, monitoring daily production, and coordinating with quality control managers. The candidate should have considerable knowledge of manufacturing operations, ability to analyze blueprints and production drawings, plan cost-effective work procedures, and effectively communicate and lead a production team. A high school diploma or GED, coursework in production management or industrial technology, or equivalent job training/experience, and extensive experience in operations and supervision are desirable.
