We invite you to forge ahead with us.What You Will Do:Specific duties include the following:Attain thorough and accurate data collection;Set stakes for construction surveys, right of way, and easementOperate Trimble GPS and robotic Total Station;Use GPS to record locations of pipe welds, foreign crossings, and pot hole data.Maintains file management of project-related information.Establish project site controlCheck calculations on cut sheets;Set-up, calibrate, use and maintain survey field equipmentTravel, including overnight stays, is sometimes required.What You Will Bring:One or more years of experience in construction, topographic, right of way and boundary surveys;Highschool Diploma or GED,Good communication skills,Reliable and able to follow multiple step directions,Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and terrains;A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.Our preferred candidate will have land or utility survey experienceOne or more years of related work experience;Ability to operate Trimble GPS, Total Stations, and other survey equipment;Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D or MicroStation/Geopak is preferredAbility to lift up to 75 lbs.You must be comfortable working in all weather conditions. Due to the physical nature of the work, you must be able to lift 50 lbs. – 75 lbs. periodically. You’re required to work with your hands, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
