The successful candidate must be willing to mentor graduate assistants and student interns in the performance of duties in a manner that complies with Council on Accreditation of Strength and Conditioning Education (CASCE) standards.  Position reports to the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics and Collaborates with ESAT Faculty.Responsibilities include the following:  Plan, direct and conduct team and individual strength and conditioning programs for in-season, post-season and non-traditional seasons where appropriate and permissible.  Design instructions for individual student-athletes and for specific team needs. Teach proper skills, skill development, and leadership concepts to student-athletes. Job Summary:  The Associate Director for Systems and Network Architecture will guide the day-to-day direction, design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of Ithaca College's IT infrastructure. This role will focus on the critical areas of network architecture, server management, data center operations, telecommunications, fiber optic and cabling plant, and cloud computing resources, ensuring that our systems meet both current and future needs. This position leads both the network and systems teams.   Job Responsibilities:   Leadership and Management: Day to day management of systems administrators and network engineers and technicians. Set expectations with direct reports, conduct performance reviews, manage coverage, manage budgets, and recruit, train, and motivate staff. Oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of projects, particularly focusing on systems, network, and telecommunications within the IT and Analytics division.  Technical Leadership and Network Expertise: Provide technical guidance in systems, network engineering, and telecommunications. Lead incident response efforts to minimize downtime and maintain operational excellence during outages.  Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key liaison between the IT department and other divisions within the college, ensuring IT initiatives effectively support departmental and institutional objectives.    Qualifications:   Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
