The In Vivo Therapeutics Core provides comprehensive services to several divisions and over 100 laboratories and companies, supporting the development and testing of novel pharmacological & cellular therapies.Department-Specific ResponsibilitiesPerforms small animal handling (rodents), animal husbandry, animal restraint, dose administration (oral, IV, IP, SQ), blood collection by various methods, necropsy, and maintenance of multiple large scale mouse breeding colonies.Responsible for daily operation of the Cesium Irradiator for the radiation resource core facility (within IUSCCC In Vivo Therapeutics Core) to provide small animal irradiations and cell culture irradiations.
