With top-notch health benefits, a wealth-building 401k plan, and unbeatable growth opportunities, joining Kiewit can bring a lifetime of personal success and satisfaction.LocationThis position is based out of Idaho Falls, ID.Responsibilities• Work closely with project managers, engineers, designers, procurement staff, construction managers, contractors, and other project services staff to provide detailed planning and scheduling of projects from conceptual planning through detailed design, construction, and start-up operations.• Develop and maintain achievable resource-loaded logic-driven schedules, including lists of activities, major milestones, critical approvals, long lead procurement items and other critical project deliverables to be scheduled and tracked for the projects.• Develop schedule logic and realistic activity durations• Analyze available manpower and resources, commodity charts, trends, schedule variations, schedule performance and schedule forecast.• Develop, maintain, and report schedule health metrics.• Implement change controls process as needed.• Apply knowledge of engineering, procurement, and construction terminology and concepts to develop and maintain critic path logic networks; accumulate and access historical data for use in maintaining realistic future planning and forecasting.• Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult project control problems. Interface with clients and attend regular meetings and give schedule health status.• Complete all work in compliance with site specific certified Earned Value Management System.Qualifications• A minimum of 3 years of construction scheduling experience.• Advanced working knowledge of Primavera P6.• Previous Earned Value Management System experience.• Ability to complete work task with minimal supervision.• Skilled at presenting schedule briefings to senior leaders.• Proficiency in various project controls software such as Primavera, Microsoft Project, Smart Sheet, Excel.• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or technical training and related experience.• This role requires a facility-specific clearance that requires U.S Citizenship to obtain.Other Requirements:• Regular, reliable attendance• Work productively and meet deadlines timely• Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment.• Perform work safely and effectively.
