Work alongside veterinary nurses as a vital member of the nursing care team. Obtain additional training along guided growth pathways offering roles in addition to direct nursing care such as veterinary technician credentialing, trainer role, community outreach, and leadership. Veterinary Assistants can additionally (where permitted by law): Administer, monitor, and maintain patients under general anesthesia with or without mechanical ventilation for patients with varied levels of risk.
