Develops and establishes appropriate service/treatment plans, regularly reviews case progress, and determines case closure based on program guidelines and standards.Assists the Program Director/Associate Director in ensuring that all licensing and agency standards related to Family Reunification services are met.Responds to on-call crises 24/7 and may carry an agency-issued communication device (email/cell phone) for prompt intervention.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesManaging Family Reunification Specialists.Supervises program participants individually or in groups, assisting them in modifying attitudes and patterns of behavior by increasing self-understanding and awareness of personal problems.Ensures staff completion of quality documentation related to reunification services and other case management services.Performs coordinating and training duties, including preparing and monitoring staffing assignments, training employees on job duties, and suggesting improvements in job performance.Develops and manages systems to ensure family reunification staff perform in full compliance with funder requirements and adhere to best practices for delivering high-quality services.QualificationsBachelor's degree in human services, psychology, social work, or related field.Minimum three (3) years of work-related experience with supervisory experience.Bilingual proficiency in English and a second language is required.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, Outlook/Exchange; Windows operating systems; and other software routinely used by Heartland Human Care Services.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (K/S/A) Ability to re ad and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.Ability and comfortability working with people of varying socioeconomic backgrounds.Excellent communication skills. Strong networker, convener, relationship builder, and communicator with experience collaborating with diverse work teams and stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information possessing skills to handle situations professionally and diplomatically. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to work independently and remain self-motivated with minimal direct supervision.Work Arrangement: This role is not eligible for remote work.
