The nEXO project aims at searching for physics beyond the Standard Model by means of neutrinoless double beta decay of 136Xe, with unprecedented sensitivity. In addition, the group is involved in the LZ dark matter experiment. The UA team is participating in the nEXO background control effort, plays a leading role in its project organization, and is operating low radioactivity detection facilities on campus and at the SURF underground laboratory in Lead, SD.Required Minimum Qualifications: Doctorate.
