The McPherson CompaniesGeneral Summary:The Service Technician is responsible for routine maintenance and troubleshooting on customer's equipment. The work schedule for this position is open and flexible: day or night shift, Sunday through Saturday.Primary Responsibilities and Duties: Perform service calls for various types of customers and complete all service call paperwork after each call. Perform light plumbing on equipment that is delivered to include attaching vent pipes to tanks, attaching down tubes to tanks or other light maintenance requirements that arise in the delivery or pick up of equipment. Assist in preparation of equipment at facility warehouse. Perform customer deliveries & other related truck movements as required. Install, service and certify 2 post and 4 post lifts. Install and service air compressors. Install and service tire balancers and other automotive repair equipment. Install and repair leaks on air lines and oil lines. Prepare, complete and submit, in a timely manner, the paperwork required. Engage in proper loading, unloading and secure procedures. Communicate with your service dispatcher and manager.
