Job SummaryThe Mechanical Engineer will develop improvements to existing Thermal products; will work in a cross-functional development group; manage a variety of tasks and activities are required in this dynamic environment. Responsibilities: Creates/modifies mechanical parts/assemblies/drawings in CAD systems, such as Creo and/or Solid Edge Create and maintain Bill of Materials, released using product lifecycle management tools Submit engineering change orders in Oracle PLM, releasing design changes including BOM and CAD documentation Collaboration across the disciplines of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, process engineering, as well as production, service, quality and offering teams. Work with these teams for design reviews, meeting cost metrics, and brainstorming around customer pain points. Handle product support questions and issues from factory, Applications Engineering, Quality, part shortages. Investigate alternate sources and submit changes to enable ongoing production and Service support.
