You will collaborate with app engineers to understand risks and to communicate found issues.Job Duties/Responsibilities• Be part of an ongoing effort to bring new testing knowledge and methodologies to the team.• Works with the QA team to establish and maintain a consistent testing methodology• Conducts Manual Testing, and uses strong Exploratory Testing to uncover weaknesses in test approaches• Implement test automation programs using Java, Ruby, SQL and scripting languages under guidance.• Assists in preparation of test strategies• Sets up and maintains test data & environments as well as logs results• Document and Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test scenarios, test cases and test scripts• Utilize appropriate testing tool.• Assist in the coordination of Business Acceptance (BAT) and End to End (E2E) testing• Validate and report progress, risks, issues and defects to agile team• Provides maintenance of the regression suite• Creates and executes automated test scripts in Selenium Web driver (Ruby or JavaScript is preferred).• Participate in the development lifecycle including product requirement and design review process.• Create, document, execute and maintain test plans to perform functional, load and performance tests for large-scale, complex software systems.• Improve existing test infrastructure to expand regression coverage.Qualifications:• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and work experience.• Understanding of object-oriented programming languages• Working experience using Git or GitHubExposure to test-drive development, functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing, GUI testing, web service testing and browser compatibility testing• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC)Capable to read and write in object-oriented languages such as Ruby, Java, JavaScript.• Experience with programming languages and writing automated test scripts is a plus• Capable to read and write in any object-oriented languages -required• Capable to write test automation programs using Java, Ruby programming languages and Selenium frameworks• Ability to understand technical specifications and analyze log files• Strong knowledge of Agile or Scrum development methodologies• Strong ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously• Ability to work in a self and fast-paced structured environment• Strong team player skills• Ability to work harmoniously with a diverse workforce• Effective and accurate decision-making skills• Strong verbal and written communication skillsWhat's in it For You:Paid holidaysWeekly paychecksWork for a Fortune 50 healthcare and pharmaceutical organization utilizing the newest technologies
