The Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at Washington University in St. Louis seeks to hire a full-time lecturer in Italian, on the teaching track, starting in August 2024 for the 2024-2025 academic year.This role requires duties equivalent to a full-time teaching load, which may include a combination of teaching and other departmental service and advising as appropriate. Teaching-track faculty in Romance Languages and Literatures regularly have an assignment of three courses per semester in addition to a service component.Initial appointments at the rank of Lecturer are renewed on an annual basis, and reappointment is contingent upon a successful annual evaluation and review.
