Qualification evaluations will focus on a specific area of skill/knowledge including, but not limited to, gas construction and maintenance, leak survey and mark & locate, welding, plastic pipe joining, or measurement and regulation tasks. This position collaborates with subject matter experts in other organizations such as Codes and standards, Engineering, Field Operations and Construction Services. This position contributes toward Safety Management System goals by improving safety and reliability. This position will conduct audit assessments of Third-Party Evaluators while proving qualification exams to our Contractors and employees. The Gas Qualification Specialist will perform qualifications at all OQ satellite locations. **Principle Duties and Responsibilities** + Performs and administers initial and subsequent evaluations, computer-based qualification tests and field observations of knowledge and skills including new and/or difficult skills and techniques, with general guidance on new assignments. + Prepares employees for the qualification process, both written/computer testing and field observation.
