The Material Handler III is responsible for expediting material which may include locating, pulling, loading, delivery, and relocating inventory. QualificationsEssential Job Functions: Utilize hand trucks, hoists, powered industrial trucks, and other handling equipment to move materials and products as needed for production, shipping, or waste management Perform cycle counts and required inventory management functions Maintain the Warehouse Reorder Dispatch keeping it up to date for one or both warehouses Track and determine status of work in process in order to fill the day's requirements Coordinate with Production Control, Purchasing, Sales & Service, Shipping & Receiving, and Engineering to ensure finished goods and parts orders will be delivered and located in the area they are needed Complete and maintain accurate electronic processes and paperwork (including but not limited to checklists, stamping, blueprints, bar coding, and shipping/receiving systems) Handle the transfer of the inventory from one warehouse or department to the other Scan kanban cards when pulled, load materials on the transfer screen, unload at the appropriate warehouse, print new cards, and locate at the required location in the plant Job Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent 3-5 years of material handling experience Advanced comprehension and intermediate math skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and required inventory management systems such as MRP, ERP, and AS400 Ability to demonstrate safe and effective operation of all required equipment, tools, and powered industrial trucks Must understand Kanban techniques, utilization of CRT's and the computer system as it applies to the department Must understand CRT, and material handling scanning capabilities Stand and walk on concrete up to 100% of work day Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch Lift and carry up to 50 lbs alone and over 50 lbs with assistance Ability to climb and balance Ability to use hands to reach and to handle or feel Manual dexterity in hands for tool usage Ability to visually inspect product Work in non-temperature controlled environments Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment *In addition to industry-leading fryers, the Welbilt, Inc. - Shreveport, Louisiana operation (Frymaster) manufactures commercial fryer filtration equipment (built-in and portable), foodservice equipment computers, water-bath rethermalizers and pasta cookers. The Sr Business Systems Analyst QAD is responsible for global development of critical business processes and systems and maintaining and supporting business systems. The Business Systems Analyst is also responsible for managing business requirements and processes and ensuring that we have business systems that support these business needs.
