The position is based in Seattle, WA.In addition to engaging active project tasks, you will participate in a structured 12-week summer program that will introduce you to the various aspects of working at Tetra Tech through exposure to technical experts, project management, business development, and more! Opportunity to extend the internship will depend on performance and engagement. Your Role: Assist in the design and permitting of projects Perform conceptual and detailed design calculations and analyses Assist in the preparation of detailed engineering reports, construction drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and supporting documents Ensure stand engineering practices and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various reports and design projects Interface with other engineering disciplines Plan, coordinate and execute work in a safe, timely, cost-effective, and compliant manner Qualifications: Student enrolled in third or fourth year of Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering (or related field), preferred Student to entry level experience in engineering related field Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record Understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Software (to include Word and Excel), preferred Position requires periodic travel, approximately 5% University of Washington Career Fair (Job posting will close on 21 April) A bout Tetra TechTetra Tech combines the resources of a global, multibillion-dollar company with local, client-focused delivery in more than 550 locations around the world.
