Description:Conduct general food micro testing including generic pathogenic micro under guidance of the Quality Assurance Supervisor or as outlined in the protocolObtain samples from production and process sample preps for micro testing, including media prep as directed or outlined in the protocolCount and record micro plate countsConduct a specific micro testing under guidance of the microbiologistAssist in processing of samples from receipt through testing, including all associated documentation and recordkeeping including data entry in internal electronic system, helping to ensure that all steps are completed in a thorough and timely manner as outlined in protocol and to communicate promptly to the Quality Assurance SupervisorAssist in maintaining thorough, complete and timely documentation and recordkeeping as outlined in established SOPAdhere to and models good manufacturing practices (GMP) and good laboratory practices (GLP) at all timesAdditional Skills & Qualifications:1 -2 years micro test or food analysis lab experiences and basic knowledge of microbiology Prior QA/QC experience in food manufacturing is a plusB.S. degree in food, chemistry, microbiology, biology or related is requiredIf qualified for this opportunity, please apply and reach out directly to Stephanie Lipari at slipari@ actalentservices.com.
