Our certification instills confidence and commands respect in the marketplace.The successful candidate will have the necessary skills and experience to conduct electro-mechanical testing of a wide variety of products including valves, sprinklers, pipe couplings, pumps, and fire protection system controls. The ability to create, customize and modify automated test equipment for the purpose of testing products. Products are tested for performance, mechanical integrity, reliability and electrical safety.Candidate shall be capable of working with minimal supervision and documenting results at the conclusion of testing. Able to demonstrate competence in using a variety of hand and power tools along with operating common electronic bench instruments such as power supplies, meters, etc. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Occasional customer and vendor interaction is required.In addition to the testing activities, the candidate shall be capable of reviewing, applying technical judgement and processing customer submitted drawings and design change documentation.Associate degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical or related technology field, with a minimum of 5 years electro-mechanical or related technical experience.Understanding of electrical and or mechanical techniques necessary to conduct assigned tasks, use of laboratory test equipment and control systemsComputer literacyCompetency with MS OfficeExperience with fire protection or suppression systems, fire alarm & signaling equipment, and/or data acquisition systems, would be a distinct bonusThe final salary offer will vary based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience.
