Marine Electrician IIJob ID: 2024-251Date Posted: 2024-04-10T00:00:00Location: National City, CAMinimum Experience: 4 yearsEducation: High School Diploma or EquivalentEpsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. is seeking a full time Marine Electrician II in San Diego, CA.Job Summary: Under supervision, assist in a variety of electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, installation, replacement and/or component repair of various non-power generation/distribution equipment across various U.S. Naval ship classes.Duties & Responsibilities:Inspects and tests electrical systems and equipment to locate and diagnose malfunctions, using visual inspections, testing devices.Troubleshoots, diagnoses and repairs basic electrical circuits across various equipment typesInstalls new fuses, electrical cables, terminal boxes, switches, lighting or power sources as required and locate and remove or repair circuit defects such as blown fuses.Adjusts, repairs, or replaces defective wiring and relays and/or safety switches and interlocks.Utilizes manufacturers' technical manuals, schematics and specifications to ensure conformance to shipboard requirements.Installs and connects wiring via control panels, and junction boxes.Reassembles and tests circuits/equipment subsequent to repairsRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent,Minimum of four years' experience as a Navy electrician (EM), Naval Shipyard Electrician.Basic knowledge of techniques, materials, tools and equipment used in the electrical trade.Basic knowledge in electrical theoryKnowledge of Lockout Tag-out procedures and electrical safety.Effective oral and written communication skills.Sound interpersonal skills needed to interface, coordinate with company personnel, customers, and outside contacts, if appropriate.Current active secret security clearance, or eligible to obtainPay Range:The pay range for this role is $26.07 To $47.79 Hourly. This is a reasonable estimate for this role.
