* Initiate, implement, and manage the plant maintenance program based on best practices, with emphasis on preventative/predictive maintenance and upkeep of facility.* Coordinate and manage all maintenance staff and activities including repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance tasks.* Manage the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for tracking work orders, spare parts and maintenance history of plant equipment and facility maintenance.* Oversee plant utilities and refrigeration systems.* Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities and identify issues and implement corrective actions.* Work with Director of Operations to manage and execute capital expenditure projects.* Deliver maintenance programs with an emphasis toward OEE based performance and industry KPI standards.* Prepare reports, analyze data, and make recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance-related problems as well as assess the company's capabilities and capacity against the company's growth goals.* Maintain plant quality performance standards, assuring compliance with all HACCP and USDA standards in alignment with maintenance practices.* Manage the maintenance department budget and make recommendations for cost savings based on historical data and forecasting.* Supervise maintenance associates ensuring ongoing training and development, safety assurance, and collaborative relations with operations.* Work with a waste reduction mindset and drive continuous improvement in maintenance and production operations.* Possess and exemplify strong problem solving, communication and analytic skills.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.* Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering preferred.* 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance leadership role in a manufacturing or industrial setting required.* Experience with large capital projects required.* Experience in the food processing industry preferred.* Expert mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.* Strong leadership skills and ability to manage and motivate a team.* Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and attention to detail.* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.* Proficient computer skills (email, word processing, Microsoft Office, routine database activities, CAD, Computerized Maintenance Management System, etc.)* Ability to read, understand, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)* Understanding of regulatory requirements related to maintenance activities.
