Working with the Director, the Assistant Director will meet with investigators to plan projects, determine appropriate technologies and workflows, and will be responsible for prioritizing and coordinating the execution of projects by GMBSR personnel. Still University's Still Research Institute (ATSRI) and the Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health (MOSDOH) seek an exempt Research Scientist on the St. Louis, Missouri, campus. This position is to support and promote clinical and translational research and quality projects/activities within the ATSRI Center for Oral Health Research and MOSDOH, in alignment with ATSU's social mission and scholarly strategic planning areas (e.g., oral public health, social determinants of health, community health research, health equity research, qualitative/survey research, clinical trials, discovery research, etc.). To this end, they will assist in the planning, development, implementation, evaluation, and dissemination of oral health research and quality improvement outcomes, as well as MOSDOH grant-funded initiatives. Major Job Duties: Responsible for day-to-day coordination of basic and clinical outcomes investigations organized and relevant to dental school. Identify, develop, and implement quality improvement/research studies to advance MOSDOH mission and vision. Monitor recruitment and retention of research subjects. Coordinate start-up activities for clinical research protocols. Assist with the management of fiscal and physical research resources.
