Parkside is looking for top-notch Unarmed Security Officers who are motivated to deliver the highest-level customer service and security to our patients, staff and guests. Security officers will have responsibilities for campus security and safety, including working with other departments to assure related policy and procedures are followed. Security Officers will maintain a highly visible presence while on duty and monitor Parkside premises and movement on campus. We are currently looking for: ***Full Time Security Guard- Mon-Friday- 7 pm-7 am PRN Security Guard (flexible shifts- would be filling in for the Full-time security guards). $14/hr Duties & Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of the parking lots, grounds and common areas of buildings in all-weather conditions: Monitors activities (on foot and through a security camera system) of buildings and grounds. Reports safety, security, and identified maintenance needs to management daily. Responds to calls for assistance from staff and/or guests on campus. Consistently demonstrates good customer service and a helpful demeanor. Responds immediately to unusual or emergency situations on campus taking appropriate action to ensure the safety and security of Parkside staff, patients, guests, and property. Quickly and safely directs emergency responders on the property when emergency situations occur. Works with local law enforcement and/or other first responders as needed. Enforces parking restrictions as posted. Works with other departments in routine safety activities including fire drills, weather safety and other alerts. Prepares incident reports to document facts and findings, completing daily activity reports to ensure department communication. Obtain and maintain CLEET Unarmed Security Officer License throughout employment. Perform other duties as assigned. CLEET Security Certification required;  Certification can be obtained within 90 days of employment if training is in progress. A valid Oklahoma driver’s license is required. High School diploma or G.E.D. required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to respond appropriately and use  verbal warning; de-escalates sensitive situations. Security experience in a public setting is desired.  Past experience working with the public is essential. Basic computer skills: email, document preparation and the Internet; Basic report writing skills - ability to complete reports that convey facts and findings. Available to work shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays as required. Minimum 21 years of age and able to pass criminal background and other screening.
