The role will function under a matrix environment where influencing teams and individuals at different levels of the organization will be required (Sales Executives, Sales Managers, Services Managers, 3rd party agencies). This position will support the entire Vertiv Technology and will work closely with local sales teams and service teams. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and Execute marketing programs for Global Strategic and National Accounts to drive revenue growth. Responsible for planning and executing many marketing programs - e.g., account intelligence gathering, demand creation, reputation support, and sales enablement. Support sales and ABM leadership in selecting the most appropriate candidate accounts for one-to-one (large-account) and one-to-few marketing execution Provide ongoing data and insights on strategic accounts and contacts within these accounts. Improve Account Penetration, Uncover Opportunities for Cross-Selling/ Upselling Translate sales objectives (opportunity-based and relationship-based) into objectives and engagement plans for marketing support. Orchestrate and lead ongoing account check-ins with account executives to ensure account goals, key contacts, and account plans remain on track and discuss upcoming account requirements and modifications. Build comarketing plans with MTDC, telecom, and commercial & industrial accounts in support of revenue targets in line with local marketing plans Oversee local elements of the database of existing customer accounts and the critical roles within them Ensure leads generated by programs are appropriately assigned and handed off into the pre/post-event lead qualification process. Actively participates in and contributes to the planning, logistics, and direction of customer events, trade show participation, marketing/sales-related meetings, webinars, etc. Experience in accurately managing and reporting on an allocated budget and a proven track record in operational excellence. Oversee local elements of the database of existing customer accounts and the key roles within them. Facilitate market research requests from functional businesses in support of existing marketing campaigns and programs i.e. competitor research, market research covering technologies and trends, voice of the customer QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in marketing or business, or comparable marketing qualification/experience 7 to 10 years of previous marketing and account based marketing experience, ideally in a named or strategic account model Three to five years of relevant data center experience, preferred. Proven experience working successfully with sales teams Ability to leverage data and insights in the development of customer marketing plans Sales-led and marketing-led demand generation Oral and written communication skills Account Based Marketing Experience Demonstrated experience working within cross-functional teams Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize work to align with business needs Excellent planning and organizational skills. Ability to organize and complete work on multiple projects concurrently. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially communicating appropriately within a diverse, multicultural environment. Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong analytical skills and experience in analyzing the effectiveness of marketing programs on key metrics (ROI, customer acquisition and retention, etc.), with the ability to conceptualize and think creatively. Experience in technology and the IT industry is highly desired. Ability to understand effective marketing and its relationship to Vertiv products, services and the sales cycle on a multinational level. PC experience and working knowledge of software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. Microsoft Teams and SharePoint experience beneficial. Marketing Automation Platform (Eloqua) and/or CRM Platform (Oracle Sales Cloud), Sprinkrl Social Media, experience a strong plus.
