EPIC-NOLA hosts a Learning Health System (LHS) with a custom-built informatics platform to support quality improvement and practice-based research. The Postdoctoral Fellow will work under the supervision of a child psychologist and the Medical Director at EPIC-NOLA and with a child psychiatric fellow to assess all clinical high-risk referrals for attenuated psychosis syndrome (APS). The Fellow will administer structured assessments and monitor patients who meet criteria for APS. The Fellow will have broad responsibility for ensuring the data they collect is analyzed and published. Courses are designed to provide participants with the rigorous academic skills, study habits, and discipline necessary for success at the post-secondary level. The curriculum and the development of the course will be based on national standards and metrics of college readiness with an emphasis in project-based learning. In addition, instructors will assist in the role of a college coach and work with participants on college readiness skills on area of college applications, financial literacy, 21st century soft skills, ACT review, and other necessary components. The program seeks to address the needs of these students and to increase the rates of post-secondary acceptance, enrollment and graduation. This therapist will provide behavioral health assessments, therapeutic services, crisis intervention, and/or other identified clinical services appropriate to stabilize and improve functioning of clients experiencing their first-episode of psychosis via telehealth for a new spoke first-episode psychosis clinic. This position provides education as well as plans, coordinates, and implements nutrition recommendations for study participants. This position collaborates with agencies, hospital and medical staff, and program participants in support of study goals. The Senior Registered Dietician assists with study data collection. This position facilitates group education for participants and their families. This position manages intervention delivery schedules. The Senior Registered Dietician serves as a resource and leader for other dieticians and study personnel. Specific responsibilities include development of dietary intervention programs and educational materials, conducting group and individual dietary assessment and counseling sessions, and assisting with other activities related to the implementation and conduct of the clinical trials.Required Qualifications* Registered Dietician in good standing.
