This position will have responsibilities in Transplant Nephrology and General Nephrology. The percent spent in each area is dependent on the needs of the program and interest of the candidates. In partnership with the Tulane Transplant Institute oversee inpatient services that includes care of acute and chronic kidney disease, provision of dialysis services, fluid and electrolyte problems, and kidney transplant. The outpatient services include evaluation and management of, transplant patients and their associated medical conditions. Administrative and educational responsibilities shall include overseeing transplant waiting list management, and maintaining compliance of the transplant program.  General nephrology outpatient services include care of chronic kidney disease, glomerulonephritis, hypertension an ESRD.
